About Global Girls Health Project

Our goal is to collect menstrual products for girls in developing countries. Menstrual health leads to overall health, and girls in developing countries are not given menstrual products. Therefore, they do not have strong overall health. Global Girl's Health project aims to distribute products so that girls, all around the world, feel safe and comfortable with their menstrual health.

Girls, who are combatting period poverty, are missing school. They miss approximately a week of school every month. This disrupts and slows their education. The girls may start to feel embarrassed and go through their cycle without any support.

Main Ideas:

1. Period Poverty

- Lack of access to menstrual products, hygiene facilities, and education due to financial constraints, affecting individuals' health and opportunities.

2. Missing School

- Without access to menstrual products, girls will miss a large percentage of school every month.

3. Lack of Support

- Due to period poverty, girls have no support. They feel isolated during their period, due to lack of support

4. Overall Health

- These ideas are all connected, and they lead to the result of their overall health.

If we want these young girls to flourish, then we need to ensure that they have strong menstrual health. These four factors are all dependent on each other, and they will ensure that girls are living a healthy life. The Global Girls Health Project wants to make sure that all girls feel comfortable in these fields.
